What this place is
Luna Foundation is a home for science, knowledge, art, sport, and every good thing that can grow from here.
It is not a public square. It's a house — and houses have rules.
The hard line
These will never be built here. Any hub or member found doing it is removed, without discussion:
- Human trafficking, or anything adjacent to it
- Sexual content
- Gore and glorified violence
- Hatred, racism, and the dehumanising of any group
There's no appeals process for this list, because there's nothing to appeal.
About free speech
You may have noticed this page never promises it. That's deliberate — and it isn't censorship, so it's worth a paragraph.
Free expression protects you from your government. It has never obliged a private house to host every claim brought to its door. This house was founded on reasoning, so what it hosts is held to reasoning.
Concretely: anything presented as true has to survive contact with evidence. A hub teaching a six-thousand-year-old Earth, a flat one, or astrology as physics isn't opening a debate — it's asking a place built for science to lend its name to something that already failed. That's the one thing this house can't give.
Faith is your own. It just doesn't get treated as evidence here.
And yet — play freely
Jokes are welcome. So is fantasy, sci-fi, thought experiments, worldbuilding, bad puns, "what if the moon were cheese," and the entire neon-soaked future described in the Vision Statement.
Nothing here is judged on a single sentence. Context is read in full — the whole thread, not the worst line in it. The question is never did someone say a wrong thing; it's is someone genuinely advocating something harmful. Those are wildly different, and telling them apart is a human's job. So a human does it.
Who decides
For now, Nightowl. Later, maybe platform administrators, reading the whole thread, in good faith.
